SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Maintaining inspecting and testing winching and ancillary equipment belonging to Rotrex and its clients to ensure that these comply with the statutorily established rules.

OVERVIEW OF ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintenance testing and certification of winching and ancillary equipment.
  • Potential requirement to participating in the breakdown service for maintenance/repair of winching equipment outside office hours.
  • Ensuring correct administrative completion.
  • Coresponsibility for order and tidiness in the workshop.
  • Any other work relating to the workshop.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Command of the English language both orally and in writing.
  • Completed training or qualification in mechanics engineering electromechanical disciplines or comparable level obtained through experience.
  • Knowledge or understanding of hydraulics is desirable.
  • Previous experience of working on plant HGVs or agricultural equipment
  • Basic safety awareness and understanding
  • 3 years mechanical engineering experience
  • A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing breakdowns
  • Selfmotivated with capability of working independently
  • Ability to prioritise effectively under pressure when required
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Able to travel throughout the UK as required
  • Undertake training courses relevant to your role
  • Able to work outside normal working hours (weekends/evenings)
  • Comfortable and Confident working at height
  • Diesel engine Mechanics experience
