Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with Cobol financial services to join our Charlotte NC (onsite 3 days a week is a must in Hybris) longterm contract.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Manage and prioritize application development tasks.
Design and develop software applications using Cobol Mainframe.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and define application specifications.
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java SQL.
Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
Experience in designing and developing applications using Cobol Mainframe.
Knowledge of database concepts and SQL queries.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex application issues.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe
