Job Description
Job Title: Network Administrator (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:- Install configure and maintain network hardware and software.
- Monitor and optimize network performance and security.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely solutions.
- Manage network access and ensure system integrity through regular updates and patches.
- Implement and oversee security measures including firewalls and VPNs.
- Maintain and update documentation for network configurations procedures and policies.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure efficient network operations.
- Conduct regular network backups and disaster recovery tests.
- Keep uptodate with the latest network technologies and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
- Indepth knowledge of network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP) and routing.
- Handson experience with networking hardware (e.g. switches routers firewalls).
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds PRTG).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Excellent problemsolving and multitasking skills.
- Certifications such as CCNA CompTIA Network or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
