Job Description
Temporary Manager Trade Compliance Oversight (Volcker)
We are seeking experienced professionals to support a leading financial institutions frontline supervision team on a temporary basis through June 2024 with a possibility for extension. These positions require onsite presence four days a week in either New York or Charlotte.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate manual and automated trade surveillance systems for regulatory compliance.
- Perform supervisory reviews to ensure adherence to compliance frameworks and regulatory standards.
- Conduct indepth testing and analysis of trade surveillance processes.
- Partner with the frontline team to identify and resolve compliance issues strengthening overall governance practices.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of Volckerrelated regulations and compliance practices.
- Proven expertise in audit or compliance testing particularly within trading or markets operations.
- Preferred experience:
- Supervision of trading desks with a focus on compliance.
- Compliance roles involving trade surveillance and regulatory adherence.
- Auditing roles with an emphasis on trading compliance and regulatory reviews.
- Strong analytical and detailoriented mindset.
