DS Technologies Inc is looking for Web Application Production Support Specialist role for one of our premier clients.
Overview:
The role involves providing production support for web applications on the Microsoft Windows platform resolving technical issues and ensuring application stability and reliability.
Position:
Fulltime onsite production support role for seniorlevel candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for web applications on the Microsoft Windows platform.
- Develop and manage automation scripts using PowerShell or Python.
- Manage and troubleshoot batch jobs using tools like TWS ControlM or Autosys.
- Perform database queries and management on SQL Server Oracle or MySQL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve web application issues including IIS serverrelated problems.
- Work with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for ticket management and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address system/networkrelated issues.
- Maintain high availability and reliability of supported applications including oncall shifts.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Windowsbased web application production support.
- Proficiency in PowerShell or Python scripting for automation.
- Handson experience with SQL databases (SQL Server Oracle or MySQL).
- Familiarity with batch job management tools like TWS ControlM or Autosys.
- Strong knowledge of IIS server management and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for incident and change management.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and provide oncall support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in ITIL or relevant production support tools.
- Exposure to Agile or DevOps environments.
Additional Information:
- Senior candidates preferred for this role.
- Requires availability for oncall shifts and resolving critical issues promptly.
Candidate Details:
- Strong background in Microsoft Windowsbased web applications scripting and database management required.
