Job Overview
The User Interfaces Team at Solactive defines implements and maintains our Design System the foundation for consistent highquality interfaces across the company. This system ensures a cohesive user experience standardizes processes and promotes collaboration enhancing efficiency in development and operations. The team also manages Solactives public website aligning it with our design principles and ensuring smooth integration.
As a Principal Software Engineer youll tackle complex challenges building scalable userfriendly frontend applications that delight internal and external users. Collaborating with development and business teams youll drive UI design and implementation setting new standards for frontend excellence. Your Tasks
- UI Framework & Design System: Maintain and enhance the UI framework used as the basis for all graphical interfaces at Solactive ensuring a consistent and cohesive design language.
- Design and Implementation of UI Architecture: Develop a flexible and scalable architecture for user interfaces that supports the needs of current and future projects.
- FrontEnd Development: Lead the development and maintenance of Solactives public webpage as well as other clientfacing applications with a strong focus on user experience and performance.
- Solactive Public Webpage: Lead the development and maintenance of Solactives public webpage using a modern tech stack (Strapi Astro Vite)
- Collaboration with CrossFunctional Teams: Work closely with backend DevOps and business teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of frontend applications.
- Support FullStack Development: Utilize knowledge in Java Go and Python as needed to assist with fullstack development tasks
Your Profile
- Deep Expertise in React: Proven track record of designing building and scaling complex frontend applications using React.
- UI Framework Maintenance: Experienced in maintaining a UI framework or design system ensuring consistency across all graphical interfaces.
- Architecture Design: Ability to design flexible scalable UI architectures that allow for future growth and adaptation.
- ProblemSolving Mindset: Skilled in creating and applying problemsolving scripts to tackle complex development challenges efficiently.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Strong communicator able to work well with other teams and mentor junior developers.
- Fullstack proficiency: Strong understanding of backend development concepts and technologies to collaborate effectively with backend teams and contribute to the overall architecture (Java Go Python).
- Innovation: A drive to explore new approaches and technologies to improve development processes and deliver innovative solutions.
