Role: Enterprise Data Architect
Work Location: Markham ON Canada (Hybrid Onsite Atleast 3 days in 1 Week)

Enterprise Data Architect:
Ensure that the organizations IT strategy supports its business goals and objectives.
Create and maintain architecture views that describe the current and future state of the enterprise. Develop data technology vision to fulfil business ambition & reduce costs.
Define target data architecture and agreed data roadmaps.
Communicate future IT architecture to sponsors and secure roadmap investment.
Establish policies and standards to ensure that IT investments and projects align with the overall architecture and business strategy
Assess new technologies in the data data science and reporting and determine their potential impact on the enterprise o Collaborate with business leaders IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure that architectural decisions meet the needs of the organization
Analyze design plan and implement enterprisewide strategies to align IT infrastructure with business goals. Alternatively implement frameworks and best practices for data collection storage processing and utilization from functional nonfunctional service and security perspectives; Ensure these efforts progress the overall architecture journey and align with Clients IT Strategy
Deliver strategic change through solution architecture delivery vendors and partners.
Lead Solution Architects to ensure solution quality and alignment to roadmaps principles and standards.
Govern change against Architecture standards. Accountabilities Nature of Work
Solutions and Assurance
Create solutions and design for projects to meet Clients standards for technology and ensure they meet our ambitions for availability security resilience and performance.
Produce design options with associated costs benefits and risks to enable investment decisions.
Work with product owners architects platform teams and other project colleagues to agree tradeoffs between longterm and shortterm goals.
Responsible for the integrity of the endtoend solution across Platforms including transition states used to achieve the target state.
Shape and estimate IT initiatives and feature team sprints ensuring that component parts deliver against business outcomes.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
Record any solution debt incurred during the transition phase of the solution and address the same in future phases.
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with proposed solutions.
Develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
Participate in postimplementation reviews and provide feedback to improve future solution designs.
Technical Leadership
Keep up with technological developments in the digital integration area and evaluate how well they fit into the companys architecture.
Evaluate and recommend tools frameworks and platforms to support the development and deployment of solutions.
