- Strong Enterprise Architecture skills.
- Proficient in data platform capabilities data lifecycle management data retention data modeling data product/Data as a Product concept medallion architecture pattern and knowledgeable in cloud computing and modern development practices.
- Skilled in solutions converting policies/data from legacy systems to modern platforms.
- Experienced with data science platforms and DSML capabilities for model development MLOps etc.
Role Purpose:
The purpose of the Enterprise data Architect role is to: Ensure that the organizations IT strategy supports its business goals and objectives.
Create and maintain architecture views that describe the current and future state of the enterprise.
Develop data technology vision to fulfil business ambition & reduce costs.
Define target data architecture and agreed data roadmaps.
Communicate future IT architecture to sponsors and secure roadmap investment.
Establish policies and standards to ensure that IT investments and projects align with the overall architecture and business strategy
Assess new technologies in the data data science and reporting and determine their potential impact on the enterprise
Collaborate with business leaders IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure that architectural decisions meet the needs of the organization
Analyze design plan and implement enterprisewide strategies to align IT infrastructure with business goals. Alternatively implement frameworks and best practices for data collection storage processing and utilization from functional nonfunctional service and security perspectives; Ensure these efforts progress the overall architecture journey and align with Clients s IT Strategy
Deliver strategic change through solution architecture delivery vendors and partners.
Lead Solution Architects to ensure solution quality and alignment to roadmaps principles and standards.
Govern change against Architecture standards.

Nature of Work
Solutions and Assurance
Create solutions and design for projects to meet Clients s standards for technology and ensure they meet our ambitions for availability security resilience and performance.
Produce design options with associated costs benefits and risks to enable investment decisions.
Work with product owners architects platform teams and other project colleagues to agree tradeoffs between longterm and shortterm goals.
Responsible for the integrity of the endtoend solution across Platforms including transition states used to achieve the target state.
Shape and estimate IT initiatives and feature team sprints ensuring that component parts deliver against business outcomes.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Record any solution debt incurred during the transition phase of the solution and address the same in future phases.
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with proposed solutions.
Develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
Participate in postimplementation reviews and provide feedback to improve future solution designs.
Technical Leadership
Keep up with technological developments in the digital integration area and evaluate how well they fit into the companys architecture.
Evaluate and recommend tools frameworks and platforms to support the development and deployment of solutions.
Support defining the architecture best practices and standards and enforcing them in the project solutions.
Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
Ensure design artefacts are produced to support stakeholder group for service security architecture and engineering.
Peer reviews the design artefacts of others.
Provide coaching mentoring and training to less experienced team members as required.
Design Community membership.
Contribute to the Solution Architecture community across Clients Group leading on or participating in initiatives to improve Clients s approach to design.
Develop your technical skills to support Clients s need to understand and exploit emerging technology trends.

Accountable for solving problems and dealing with difficulties in line with policy process and other guidelines applying technical knowledge and expertise.
Depending on the nature of the specific role problems can range from repetitive daily issues to complex technical problems requiring significant expertise.

Recommend design solutions or ideas in response to challenges faced by your project or feature team in line with policy process and other guidelines.
Accountable for recommending change based on expert know how and analysis.

Project managers and others on projects
Platform Managers and Specialist
Platform Architects and Designers
External interaction
Maintain liaison with suppliers and the relevant sources of technology to ensure the specialist knowledge is kept up to date.
