Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager to lead the development and growth of Fair App our innovative ecommerce platform. This role is pivotal in driving vendor acquisition enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring the platforms success through strategic leadership collaboration and execution.
About the Role
As a Product Manager you will report directly to the CEO and take ownership of the Fair Apps marketplace. Youll lead crossfunctional teams to implement strategies that increase vendor listings streamline operations and deliver an exceptional user experience. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing platform in a fastpaced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Strategy
- Develop and implement strategies to drive vendor acquisition and increase customer transactions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the marketplace to meet business goals.
Operations Management
- Oversee vendor management order fulfillment and logistics to ensure seamless operations.
Vendor Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
- Support vendor onboarding and ensure longterm engagement.
Marketing and amp; Growth
- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
- Oversee social media marketing and activities to boost customer engagement and vendor acquisition.
Financial Oversight
- Monitor and manage the platforms financial performance focusing on profitability and cost efficiency.
- Align spending with product growth objectives.
Team Leadership
- Lead the product marketing vendor management and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
Product Development
- Work with the tech team to build and improve platform features that enhance the user experience.
Customer Support
- Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure timely and effective support for buyers and vendors.
Data and amp; Insights
- Analyze customer and vendor data to identify trends and implement platform improvements.
Budgeting
- Manage the products budget and allocate resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
Startup Responsibility
- Adapt to evolving business needs and take on new responsibilities as required in a dynamic startup environment.
Who You Are
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field.
- 3 years of experience in product management preferably in ecommerce or marketplace platforms.
- Strong understanding of platform strategy vendor relations and user experience design.
- Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams and deliver results.
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing marketing campaigns and social media strategies.
- Familiarity with logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques.
- Prior experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
