You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs a Laundry Attendant, you will coordinate the work effort of the production and dry cleaning areas of the Laundry Department. Your job responsibilities include collecting soiled linens or clothing, sorting laundry by color and fabric type, performing stain treatments, and operating laundry machines to wash and dry items. You play an important role in ensuring a memorable guest experience.
Washing and Drying:
Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and washing instructions.
Operate washing machines and dryers according to fabric care labels.
Measure and use appropriate amounts of detergents, fabric softeners, and other chemicals.
Ironing and Folding:
Iron clothes, linens, and other items as required.
Fold laundry neatly and prepare it for delivery or pick-up.
Sorting and Inspection:
Inspect garments for stains, tears, or damage before washing.
Sort items after cleaning to ensure proper categorization.
Stain Removal:
Use specialized techniques and chemicals to remove stains.
Handle delicate or specialty fabrics with care to avoid damage.
Inventory Management:
Keep track of incoming and outgoing laundry.
Maintain records of customer orders and ensure items are returned promptly.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Keep laundry machines, tools, and work areas clean and in good condition.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Adhering to Health and Safety Standards:
Follow hygiene and safety protocols, especially in settings like hospitals or food service industries.
Wear protective gear and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
Customer Interaction (if applicable):
Handle customer orders and provide information on services.
Address complaints or concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
New graduate or at least 3 month training in Housekeeping or Laundry
Good interpersonal skills
Fair English communication skills
Eye for detail
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of operating laundry machines (washers, dryers, irons, pressers).
Understanding of fabric care symbols and proper handling of various textiles.
Proficiency in stain removal techniques and proper chemical usage.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to sort, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Attention to detail to avoid mix-ups and ensure quality standards.
Physical Stamina:
Capability to stand, bend, and lift heavy loads for extended periods.
Strength to handle large volumes of laundry.

Ability to meet deadlines, especially in high-volume settings.
Customer Service Skills:
