To Lead a team of planners to ensure that the preventive maintenance jobs and other planned jobs are planned based on the resources available and the system updated accordingly. Ensure that the required resources are available to carry out the scheduled jobs.
Areas of Responsibilities:
Availability of resources for Planned jobs
Identifying spares required for planned jobs
Coordination for shutdown jobs
Identifying training needs for technicians and coordinating training
Effectiveness of Preventive Maintenance Jobs 6. Training of Planners

Project Planning and Scheduling:
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines for engineering projects, ensuring all tasks are clearly defined and achievable within the given timeframes.
Use project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) to create and maintain detailed schedules, tracking milestones and deadlines.
Ensure all aspects of the project, including resources, timelines, and dependencies, are planned to optimize productivity and reduce potential delays.
Monitor project progress, adjusting schedules as needed to reflect changes or unforeseen obstacles, and communicate any shifts in timelines to the relevant stakeholders.
Resource Management:
Determine the resource requirements (e.g., labor, materials, equipment) for each project phase and ensure their timely availability.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure that the necessary resources are acquired and prepared in advance of project execution.
Track and manage resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
Budget and Cost Control:
Work closely with the project management team to develop accurate project cost estimates and budgets.
Monitor project expenses and ensure that the project is delivered within the budgetary constraints.
Identify potential cost overruns or inefficiencies and implement corrective measures to stay within the approved budget.
Provide regular cost analysis reports and suggest cost-saving initiatives where possible.
Minimum Three-year full-time Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
5 years experience in the operation and maintenance of utility in extensive process industry as a supervisor with at least 2 years working experience in SAP with complete knowledge of order cycle in SAP PM.
Good knowledge of utility equipment, such as Boilers, Air compressors, Refrigeration systems, Fire fighting systems, Water Filtration and distribution systems, Diesel Generators, and also HV/MV/LV Distribution systems.
seven years experience in an extensive process plant in operation and Maintenance of Utilities as supervisor with at least 2 years working experience in SAP with complete knowledge of order cycle in SAP PM
Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent).
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Solid understanding of engineering project processes, including cost estimation, resource management, and risk mitigation.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate project data, detect potential issues, and propose solutions.
Ability to create and present clear, concise reports and documentation for stakeholders at all levels.
