As the Speech Pathologist you will conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students needs. Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments therapy sessions progress notes and IEPs. Provide service sessions utilizing culturally and linguistically appropriate methods. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech language and communication disorders. Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend multidisciplinary team meetings. Collaborate with teachers parents and other educational professionals to support students academic and social success. Educate and train school staff and parents on strategies to support speech and language development at home and in the classroom. Stay current with best practices in speechlanguage pathology through professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible to apply for an ASHA certification.
- Hold a Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Ability to apply for an SLP license in the state of Illinois (reimbursement available).
- CFYs (Clinical Fellows) are strongly encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated supervision.
