Job Description

Roles and responsibilities


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our team. As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating biological and health systems and products. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve medical devices, equipment, and processes. Your work will contribute to enhancing the quality of healthcare and saving lives.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement innovative solutions for medical devices and equipment.
Conduct research and analysis to identify user needs and requirements.
Design and prototype medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems.
Evaluate product performance and recommend improvements and modifications.
Conduct experiments and tests to validate product performance and safety.
Document and communicate design specifications and technical reports.
Design and Development of Biomedical Equipment:

Develop and design medical devices, instruments, and equipment such as imaging systems, prosthetics, and diagnostic tools.
Ensure that designs meet regulatory standards and patient safety requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify needs and develop solutions.
Testing and Maintenance:

Test biomedical equipment for performance, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards.
Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of medical devices to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty biomedical equipment.
Research and Innovation:

Conduct research to improve existing medical devices or develop new technologies.
Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in biomedical engineering.
Collaborate with researchers to apply engineering principles in solving biological and medical problems.


Desired candidate profile


Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and standards.
Proficiency in designing and using biomedical instrumentation and equipment.
Experience with 3D modeling and prototyping software.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing equipment.
