Job Description
- Handling post fixture voyage claims
- Manage invoice issuance and postfixture voyage claims in accordance with contractual term.
- Handling hires and other claims of ship owners.
- Collaborate with Finance team on operational profitability budgeting variances and basic financial accounting.
- Time charterers and pools contract management.
- Voyage profit and loss analysis and reporting
- Follow up with counterparties for timely payment and keeping records of outstanding amounts
- Monitor Shipping portfolio to ensure accurate market exposure management
Qualifications :
- University degree in Maritime or an equivalent field.
- At least 2 years relevant experience in post fixture claims with a reputed tanker owner commercial tanker operator oil major or oil trader
- Experienced in financial accounting would be an added advantage
- Strong analytical problemsolving skills
- Proactive meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility
- Team player and able to work independently
- Good communication / interpersonal skills.
