Job Description
- Consolidate treat store pack transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste.
- Provide outstanding service to clients and maintain records with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct large and small Lab Pack projects.
- Segregate pack transport materials and complete documentation.
- Perform onsite testing of unknown materials.
- Provide onthejob training to Technicians and Operators in equipment operation service line processes and required documentation
- Maintain records for DOT DEA and other government entities as assigned.
- Instruct provide feedback direct and assist team in performance of job duties to complete work.
- Wear companyprovided personal protective equipment including respirator eye protection foot protection Tyvek coveralls etc. CDL Class B with HazMat endorsement or willingness to obtain at company expense
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates degree in environmental science biology or chemistry
- 1 year(s) of experience packing labeling and preparing for transportation chemicals and hazardous waste
- 40hour Hazwoper certificate
- By law candidates must be 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in environmental biology or chemistry
- Experience leading or supervising a team
- High level of knowledge of RCRA OSHA and DOT regulations pertaining to hazardous waste handling and transportation
- Awareness of DEA regulations pertaining to controlled pharmaceuticals
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook Word Excel SharePoint and Teams
- CDL Class B with HazMat endorsement or willingness to obtain at company expense
- Willing and able to travel overnight via automobile/truck approximately 20% of the time.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
