Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and boardcertified Pulmonologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to providing highquality patientcentered care and a passion for respiratory medicine. With at least two years of experience in critical care and pulmonary medicine the Pulmonologist will be responsible for diagnosing treating and managing a variety of pulmonary conditions and diseases.

  • Patient Diagnosis and Treatment:

    • Diagnose and treat patients with a range of respiratory disorders including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) asthma and interstitial lung disease.
    • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as bronchoscopy thoracentesis and pulmonary function testing.
    • Manage patients requiring ventilator support including those in intensive care settings.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including critical care specialists oncologists and radiologists to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.
    • Educate patients and their families on respiratory health disease prevention and posttreatment care.
  • Procedural Expertise:

    • Conduct advanced diagnostic procedures to evaluate lung function and pathology.
    • Provide specialized care for patients with complex pulmonary conditions including those with sleep disorders or lung infections.
    • Manage airway issues and provide emergency respiratory care as needed.
  • Patient Education and Advocacy:

    • Educate patients on the importance of smoking cessation lung health and other preventive measures.
    • Participate in public health initiatives related to respiratory diseases promoting awareness and early detection.
    • Advocate for patients by ensuring they receive appropriate referrals to other specialists when necessary.

Qualifications :

  • Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine.
  • Active medical license to practice as a physician.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in critical care or pulmonary medicine.
  • Proficiency in airway management and experience with ventilator support.
  • Experience in hospitalbased pulmonology and familiarity with complex cases involving critical care settings.
  • Knowledge of pediatric pulmonary conditions is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of medical coding and documentation ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Interest or experience in oncology medical imaging orthopedics or related specialties is advantageous.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in pulmonary medicine.

Compensation Min: $60000 Max: $80000

This position is in the proposal stage we are waiting to be awarded the project.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and other benefits. The final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
