Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced PMC Construction Interface Manager to oversee and manage all constructionrelated interface activities for a prestigious Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Basra Iraq. The Construction Interface Manager will act as a primary coordinator between various stakeholders ensuring alignment resolving conflicts and maintaining seamless communication across multiple disciplines during the construction phase. This role demands strong leadership technical expertise and a proven track record in managing interfaces within largescale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for all construction interfacerelated activities ensuring effective coordination between project teams contractors and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement interface management processes and procedures to address constructionrelated challenges.
- Ensure alignment between engineering procurement construction and commissioning teams to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor and resolve interface conflicts and issues in a timely and efficient manner to avoid project delays.
- Conduct regular interface coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to construction interfaces updating the risk register as necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of all interface activities including communications agreements and resolutions.
- Prepare and present progress reports on construction interface management to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications contractual obligations and HSE standards.
- Foster a collaborative and proactive approach among multidisciplinary teams to resolve constructionrelated challenges.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Experience:
- 1215 years of experience in construction and interface management with a focus on Oil & Gas or pipeline construction projects.
- Proven experience in a PMC environment and working in Iraq or similar regions is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction processes interface management principles and risk management.
- Excellent problemsolving and conflictresolution skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced multicultural environment.
