Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced PMC Project Control Coordinator (Construction) to oversee project controls including planning cost management and progress monitoring for a highprofile Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Basra Iraq. The Project Control Coordinator will ensure that all project control functions are integrated and aligned with project objectives timelines and budgets. This role requires strong analytical skills expertise in project control tools and experience in managing largescale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project control activities including planning scheduling cost control and progress tracking to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Develop and maintain integrated project control systems and processes to monitor project performance effectively.
- Collaborate with planning cost and construction teams to ensure accurate reporting and data consistency.
- Monitor project budgets costs and schedules to identify variances and provide corrective action recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports dashboards and presentations to project stakeholders highlighting key performance metrics.
- Support change management processes by evaluating the cost and schedule impact of variations claims and scope adjustments.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address project control challenges.
- Ensure contractors project control systems comply with project requirements and provide feedback for improvement.
- Facilitate regular project control meetings to review performance discuss challenges and align on next steps.
- Maintain detailed records of project control documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Qualifications :
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Experience:
- 812 years of experience in project controls including planning scheduling and cost control with a focus on Oil & Gas or pipeline construction projects.
- Experience in a PMC environment and working in Iraq or similar regions is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in project control tools such as Primavera P6 MS Project and cost control software.
- Strong understanding of project control principles earned value management (EVM) and critical path analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
