Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PMC Civil Supervisor Construction Supervisor Stations to oversee civil construction activities related to stations for a highprofile Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Basra Iraq. The Civil Supervisor will ensure that all civil works comply with project specifications schedules and quality standards while maintaining safety and efficiency. This role requires technical expertise in civil construction strong leadership skills and experience in managing largescale projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all civil construction activities for stations ensuring alignment with project specifications and schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure construction activities adhere to quality standards and approved designs.
- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to address technical challenges and implement solutions.
- Oversee excavation foundation work structural concrete and other civil engineering tasks associated with station construction.
- Coordinate with engineering procurement and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of civil works into the overall project.
- Verify that materials used in construction meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project milestones.
- Ensure that all civil construction activities comply with HSE policies and promote a culture of safety onsite.
- Prepare and submit progress reports including updates on civil works risks and mitigation strategies.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and overall performance.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- 812 years of experience in civil construction supervision with a focus on Oil & Gas or pipeline projects.
- Proven experience in a PMC environment and working in Iraq or similar regions is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes materials and standards.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for effective team and stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency in construction management tools and software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a high level of quality and safety onsite.
