Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented PMC Engineering Coordinator (Construction) to manage and coordinate engineering activities for a highprofile Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Basra Iraq. The Engineering Coordinator will ensure seamless communication between engineering and construction teams oversee design implementation and ensure that engineering deliverables meet project specifications quality standards and schedules. This role demands strong technical expertise organizational skills and experience in largescale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering and construction teams ensuring alignment on design implementation and project requirements.
- Coordinate the review and approval of engineering deliverables such as drawings specifications and calculations for construction activities.
- Ensure that engineering designs are fully integrated into construction plans and executed in compliance with project specifications.
- Address and resolve technical queries (TQ) raised during construction escalating critical issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- Monitor and track the progress of engineering deliverables to ensure timely completion and submission.
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction activities align with engineering designs and quality standards.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment as per engineering requirements.
- Assist in preparing progress reports technical documentation and status updates for project stakeholders.
- Support risk management activities by identifying and mitigating engineeringrelated risks during construction.
- Promote adherence to HSE policies and ensure compliance with safety standards in all engineering and construction activities.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Mechanical or related discipline).
- Experience:
- 812 years of experience in engineering coordination with a focus on Oil & Gas or pipeline construction projects.
- Proven experience in a PMC environment and working in Iraq or similar regions is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of engineering principles construction processes and design integration.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency in engineering design tools and project management software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
