- You will utilise your knowledge to develop and implement assembly and inprocess test processes and facilities to deliver the safety quality delivery and cost objectives.
- Detailed planning development and implementation of installation timing plans with key suppliers.
- Ensure robust process planning including build simulations and PFMEAs.
- Assembly process & equipment verification at suppliers and at manufacturing facility
- Manage technical issues and escalate where appropriate.
- Achieve equipment capability and availability targets.
- Support the resolution of technical issues where appropriate.
- Planning developing and implementation of all written Processes for manufacturing and all tooling jigs and fixtures for manufacturing.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience of Manufacturing / Engineering processes tools and techniques with a hands on approach to engineering.
- Experience of facility installation project management capability validation commissioning and product launch.
- Ability to work within crossfunctional teams and flexibility to support projects from early concepts to Launch.
- Ability to use CAD packages to review engineering drawings and models (Catia V6 & Teamcentre etc)
- Understanding of safe automated and manual manufacturing system
- Ability to problem solve technical and manufacturing issues.
