Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Junior Industrial Engineer to join our team in Boksburg South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of industrial processes a lean approach to operations and experience in time studies and assembly methods. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize industrial processes to improve efficiency reduce waste and enhance productivity.
- Conduct time studies and method analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in assembly methods and workflows.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various processes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and execute process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor production metrics and provide datadriven recommendations to improve overall performance.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations in all industrial processes.
- Assist in layout planning and workflow optimization within the facility.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in industrial engineering preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Strong knowledge of time study techniques process optimization and lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with assembly methods and a good understanding of production workflows.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software relevant to industrial engineering.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
