Job Description
- Remove install and replace aircraft engines and accessories.
- Assist with engine runs and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
- Troubleshoot repair inspect and document work per manuals and regulations.
- Support Avionics Structures Composites and other disciplines as needed.
- Assist with mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
- Return aircraft to service after maintenance including offsite.
- Audit your work area and truck monthly.
- Perform Delegated Inspector (DI) duties as qualified by QA.
- Follow Bombardiers General Work Requirements and safety protocols.
Qualifications :
- A&P Certificate 3 years of aircraft maintenance or equivalent experience.
- 1 year of Bombardier aircraft model experience.
- Located or willing to relocate to the West Coast.
- Experience with turbine engine and corporate/commercial jet maintenance preferred.
- Strong communication skills for reporting aircraft status.
- Own basic hand tools and demonstrate tool inventory control.
- Able to work overtime unscheduled workdays and in all weather conditions.
- Willing to travel with short notice including assignments up to 30 days.
- Valid drivers license insurable status and the ability to work independently.
- Troubleshooting skills valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
- Capable of obtaining SIDA badge and experienced in return to service procedures.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
