Sanitarian

• Sanitarians investigate health and safety in business environments work to enforce safety and health regulations and identify risk factors.
• Observe the behavior of employees at the facility to ensure they are working to prevent the spread of disease.
• Educate the public and individuals about methods to reduce contamination.
• Develop protocols to maintain public and industrial hygiene standards.
• Enforcing existing health regulations in community practice.
• Monitor waste disposal and handling in environments such as hospitals businesses and the public sector.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor degree from Environmental Health Public Health Biology or any related major
• has an active STR
• Preferably have 2 years of experience in various fields of environmental health hygiene or industrial safety
• Indepth understanding of sanitation practices infection control and health and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) for reporting and documentation.
• Ability to adapt to changing regulations and handle unexpected sanitation challenges.
