Job Description

We are seeking experienced Data Governance Analyst to join our dynamic team and help organisations establish and enhance their data governance capabilities. Candidates will work with clients of varying data maturity levels to implement and operationalise data governance frameworks ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic objectives.

About the Role
Depending on experience responsibilities will range from supporting the implementation of governance initiatives to leading endtoend streams of work including defining standards designing roles and delivering operational frameworks. Senior candidates will take ownership of complex workstreams provide strategic insights and lead crossfunctional teams.

As a Data Governance Analyst you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing robust Data Governance Frameworks and Policies leveraging expertise in data management principles like DAMA and DMBOK. Your responsibilities will include conducting capability assessments designing stakeholder engagement strategies and driving business change to enhance data governance adoption. You will provide operational support for leading data catalog tools such as Alation Collibra and Ataccama and integrate governance frameworks with modern platforms like Databricks and Snowflake. Senior roles include stream leadership aligning initiatives with organizational goals and mentoring junior consultants to foster collaboration and excellence.


    Qualifications :

    Skills and Experience

    • 3 years of experience defining and operationalising data governance frameworks policies and processes.
    • Strong understanding of data governance principles standards and best practices.
    • Proven ability to engage with and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
    • Familiarity with data catalog tools and their implementation to support governance objectives.
    • Practical experience integrating governance tools and practices with common data platforms like Databricks Snowflake or equivalent technologies.
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable governance solutions.
