Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Highly motivated technician willing to contribute at the highest level.
- Demonstrates the desire to learn various technical areas has outofthebox thinking and can bring creative ideas and solutions to technical challenges.
- Performing multiple failure analysis techniques to characterize media and other HDD components as we support both development and manufacture of HDD media.
- Responsible for investigating and analyzing product failures using Optical Microscope Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)OSA and ZYGO to determine failure defect and support the development of solutions that enhance product reliability.
- Handson skills and technical expertise will play a critical role in our quality assurance processes.
Qualifications :
REQUIRED:
- Diploma in Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Fundamentals of Engineering: Understanding of core engineering principles and concepts relevant to the specific engineering discipline.
- ProblemSolving Abilities: Ability to analyze problems develop solutions and implement them effectively.
PRACTICAL SKILLS
- HandsOn Experience: Experience with laboratory work (Optical Microscope Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) OSA Zygo projectbased learning or internships that provide practical application of engineering concepts.
- Project Management: Basic skills in managing projects including planning execution and reporting.
SOFT SKILLS:
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas and collaborate.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment contributing to group projects and discussions.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to learn new concepts and technologies and adapt to changing work environments.
