About the role
As a General Ledger Specialist youll do more than just crunch numbers. Youll play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting our organizations overall financial health. You will be contributing to monthend quarterend and yearend close processes and provide support during both internal and external audits. It goes without saying that you stay updated on regulatory requirements and implement best practices in accounting. Furthermore you are keen on improving general ledger processes and you proactively participate in updating our financial systems.
About your tasks:
- Accurately preparing and posting journal entries.
- Supporting the preparation of documentation for balance sheet account reconciliation.
- Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
- Ensuring timely reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications :
About you
You thrive in highpressure situations and are motivated to meet deadlines while demonstrating a keen attention to detail.
Please be aware that due to legal requirements we can only consider applications from candidates who are citizens of the European Union (EU) member countries. If you are not an EU citizen you must possess a valid work permit for The Netherlands.
- Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of international accounting or finance experience.
- Indepth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations (IFRS).
- Ensuring timely reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
- You are tech savy able to work using different systems.
- You have excellent English skills. Additionally since many of our colleagues speak German it would be beneficial if you have good German skills as well.
