About your tasks:
- Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a diverse team of over 1100 employees including department leads shift managers team leaders and operational staff fostering growth and development at every level.
- Oversee Daily Operations Across Shifts: Plan and coordinate staffing requirements set productivity targets and ensure their achievement through close collaboration with department leads and their teams.
- Process Optimization: Conduct thorough analyses of logistics workflows track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as SLAs turnaround times and cost per order and drive continuous improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support Organizational Growth: Anticipate and address growth demands by utilizing forecasts for proactive planning. Spearhead capacity planning and efficiency initiatives to support scalable site operations.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership to implement longterm logistics strategies ensuring alignment with future business objectives and growth demands.
Qualifications :
About you:
- Leadership Skills: You have experience in leading a large logistics site or as an operations manager at a logistics facility.
- ECommerce Experience: Ideally you have worked in a similar role within ecommerce and understand the unique demands of this dynamic sector.
- Strategic and Operational Thinking: You excel in both daily operational tasks and strategic thinking with the ability to plan and develop the site continuously.
- Team Player with DecisionMaking Ability: You lead your team with empathy and assertiveness make clear decisions and set an example through your actions.
- Language Skills: You are fluent in English to communicate effectively in our international environment. Also you have sufficient knowledge of German. Dutch language skills are not required but would be an advantage.
