Our interstate trucking services cover the domestic legs of international airfreight operations driving between all the major cities from our hubs in Sydney Melbourne Brisbane and Adelaide.

As the Accounts and Resource Manager you will be responsible for accounting payroll procurement debtors/ creditors management yearend audit preparation budget/ forecasts activities and financial reporting.  

You will also be responsible for managing the Jets Transport customer database which includes providing quotes for jobs and updating rate cards in the system. In addition this role is required to develop and drive strategic/ transformation initiatives particularly in the thirdparty supplier relationships and partnerships. You will oversee and drive the customer service delivery enterprise bargaining interpretation for payroll purposes and general IT support for Jets Transport.  

 
You will have: 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver clear financial analysis and advice to management and nonfinance teams 
• A focus on process improvement with the ability to adapt and commit to continuous improvement activities 
• Commercial orientation with an ability to manage and resolve customer expectations and escalations 
• Ability to drive value through business partnering within a large corporate organisation coupled with extensive financial knowledge 
• Highly motivated selfstarter with an ability to work under time pressure with limited supervision 
• Excellent communication and written skills to promote collaboration within both Jets Transport and the wider Qantas Group community 
• Proven ability to manage and influence priorities across a broad stakeholder group
