Job Description

ELEVATE is a 6month programme which offers eligible students support to embark on a successful legal career in Singapore. The programme is open to law students who are bursary recipients at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore Management University (SMU). Were delighted to have also contributed to the general bursary funds at both universities to support the next generation of aspiring lawyers.

As an ELEVATE student you will be provided with professional development opportunities and access to mentorship from our experienced team of Clifford Chance lawyers and business professionals. The ELEVATE programme is designed to give you the skills and confidence to be successful in your legal careers wherever your career takes you.

ELEVATE students in their second year of their law degree will also be invited to interview for our Internship Programme which further prepares students for our Training Programme

ELEVATE OPPORTUNITIES

1) GLOBAL VIRTUAL INTERNSHIPS

Our Global Virtual Internships are open to all but ELEVATE students will be invited to an exclusive debrief workshop with our subject matter experts related to one of the modules you have completed.

2) SKILLS WORKSHOP

You will be invited to attend a substantive workshop delivered by the Clifford Chance Academy to develop your legal skills.

3) CONNECTION WITH A CLIFFORD CHANCE LAWYER

A Clifford Chance lawyer will reach out to you for inperson/virtual meetings to provide insight and advice for your law school journey and to prepare you for a career in law.


Qualifications :

The registration process requires filling up this simple online form and attaching your award offer letter as proof that you are a bursary recipient from NUS or SMU. Registration will close on 11 December 2023.

To participate in the ELEVATE programme you must be a law student and a bursary recipient at the National University of Singapore (NUS) or Singapore Management University (SMU). You may participate in ELEVATE once during your law degree.
