Job Description
- Draft review and advise on a broad range of banking related contracts with respect to the businesses of the Bank (i.e.Corporate Commercial Retail and Treasury).
- Manage and advise on regulatory matters of the Bank including but not limited to PDPA.
- Draft review and advise on ISDA related matters.
- Assist in handling dispute related matters.
- Advise and participate in branch related projects.
- Working together with multiple internal stakeholders to prepare and advise on legal documentation internal policies and procedures.
- Manage external counsels effectively when engaged.
- Keep abreast with the relevant laws and regulations relating to financial institutions.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Head of Legal.
Qualifications :
- Formal Education:A law degree (LLB) from a reputable university.
Professional Accreditation: Called to the Singapore Bar and/or any commonwealth jurisdictions.
Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry): One to three years PQE.
- Relevant banking related experience in practice and/or inhouse.
Other skills required:
- Resourceful and a good team player
- Good time management skills and ability to multitask
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
