Job Description

Reporting to the VP of Media Strategy you will contribute your expertise as a Media Strategy Director in our Amsterdam office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an integrated strategist who is as comfortable in a creative review as they are in planning global paid media campaigns. The Strategy Director will be chiefly responsible for delivering strategic planning and new ideas for some of our most important paid media clients and will be a strategic voice for Jellyfish Netherlands delivering progressive leadership both internally and externally.

Your responsibilities will include:

Youll be an advocate for brands:

  • Develop insightful paid media and digital communication strategies which demonstrate an understanding of critical brand/challenges apply the latest marketing theory and inspire media plans which positively influence the brands we work alongside
  • Deliver value to clients by understanding where digital fits into our clients broader marketing and sales activity and the nature of relevant digital journeys/funnels be experienced in establishing communication and engagement with prospects clear for both client and agency teams
  • Identify opportunities for research and data to be used to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work with the market intelligence team to design commission and analyse qualitative and quantitative research
  • Use brand health tracking ad/campaign tracking social listening and segmentation studies to inform strategy development.

Youll be the glue for our clients communications

  • Work alongside media planning and practitioner teams to provide broad direction on which paid and earned media channels are likely to best support reaching desired brand outcomes
  • Inspire new ideas and fresh direction whether in strategy media content or creative keeping a constant eye on category audience trends and new news in digital marketing
  • Recommend appropriate brand or campaign performance measurement based on an understanding of Measurements and available tools
  • Ensure that briefs are inspiring based on consumer and category insights include a clear and singleminded measurement approach and are following strategic objectives

Qualifications :

  • Youll help establish communication and engagement with prospects; engage with senior clients to discuss strategy and business or brand goals good at simplifying complex challenges
  • Demonstrate expertise in developing brand digital marketingand planning strategies with a fluency in digital media planning
  • Clientcentric Youll love getting to know your clients developing longlasting relationships and adding value to their business.
  • Analytics & Reporting Youll be a whizz at using data and market insights to inform decisions and develop business strategies.
  • Creative Problem Solving You generate unique ideas and experiment with new methods and technologies to solve complex issues.
  • Team Collaboration Youll be great at collaborating with team members to achieve common goals valuing and respecting diverse contributions.
  • Adaptability Youre good at adapting strategies and plans to navigate unforeseen circumstances.
  • Youll have 3 or more years of experience within Media Strategy
