Job Description
- As a Backup System Engineer you are responsible for the analysis optimization and development of our BackupInfrastructure and virtualization environments.
- You are involved in the further development of our highly available BackupInfrastructure landscape and design IT landscapes and IT processes.
- You will also be involved in the following project topics: Data center migration virtualization automation and cloud computing.
- You provide 2nd and 3rd level support in infrastructure for our existing customers and advise their departments on technical problems.
Qualifications :
- You have completed training as an IT specialist or have a degree in (business) informatics.
- You already have professional experience as a system engineer and knowledge in the following topics: DELL/EMC Power Protect DELL/EMCNetworker DELL/EMC DataDomain DELL/EMC Elastic Cloud Storage Backuptotape Veeam or similar Backup Solutions in HybridCloud Scenarios.
- Your mindset is solution/processoriented and analytical and you have strong methodological skills. Distinct customer orientation and the ability to work in a team as well as a convincing appearance round off your profile.
- You speak fluent German (B2) and good English (B1). Team meetings will be held in English.
