Job Description
- Manage the installation configuration and maintenance of SAP systems and databases
- Perform system monitoring and performance tuning
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the SAP environment
- Provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams and business stakeholders
- Develop and implement system upgrades and patches
- Ensure compliance with security standards and policies
- Create and maintain system documentation
- Work closely with SAP developers to support application development and testing
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Stay uptodate with emerging SAP technologies and trends
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP Basis
- Experience in the setup and operation of SAP systems as well as upgrades patches and DB upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems
- Sound knowledge of at least 2 of the common SAP databases such as HANA Oracle DB2 etc
- Ability to communicate effectively with both peers and clients
- Advanced English knowledge and Conversational German level
