As the Ecommerce Product Merchandiser you will be responsible for making products discoverable & desirable for the companies online customers. Your responsibility will be to maximize product revenue and profit by efficient management of stock & assortment curation and optimization of onsite product exposure.
For this role the ability to careful analyze a commercial mindset understanding of consumer behavior and close collaboration across departments are required.
Main tasks
- Responsible for making products in the online store discoverable and desirable to customers using the Salesforce platform (and tools);
- Responsible for maximizing online product revenue and profit;
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure the online assortment and stock levels are accurate;
- Curate and optimize product exposure online from a sales margins inventory and product focus perspective;
- Work together with Ecommerce team to optimizing crosssell and upsell on our Ecommerce website;
- Responsible for product level performance and purchase behavior analysis and sharing this information with relevant internal stakeholders;
- Responsible for product information management together with Ecommerce team (e.g. images prices descriptions colors sizes etc);
- Optimize product listings including product titles and pricing to enhance search visibility improve clickthrough rates and drive sales conversion;
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop merchandising strategies and promotional campaigns that drive traffic increase conversion rates and maximize sale;
- Conduct ongoing analysis of product and website performance to identify trends opportunities and areas for improvement;
- Implement merchandising tactics such as crossselling upselling and product bundling to increase average order value and maximize revenue;
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to stay informed about market dynamics pricing strategies and emerging opportunities;
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team and third party to ensure accurate inventory management timely product launches and seamless order fulfilment;
- Continuously evaluate & optimize the online shopping experience including website navigation product categorization.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Marketing Communication Commercial Business or similar;
- At least 35 working experience in digital marketing;
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud is mandatory for the role
- Furthermore Analytics Cloud (including Tableau) and relevant tools;
- Love for sports;
- Interested in international business;
- Creative and inspiring;
- Entrepreneurial results and data oriented;
- Good level of English (spoken and written);
- Previous experience within retail is a strong plus;
- You live and are eligible to work in The Netherlands.
