Job Description

Today CS Group Canada is looking for a Hardware Software Integration Test Specialist to be integrated within a team of Software Engineers with a strong understanding of real time operating systems and lowlevel software.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HW/SW Integration Test campaign on target HW for Automotive project (ISO 26262 ASIL B).
  • Create and optimize automated test cases with continuous improvements in coverage and efficiency.
  • Provide solid traceability from software requirements to tests specifications to test cases to test results.
  • Identify and run a series of tests against new software builds on reference and/or customer hardware.
  • Analyze test results debug observed issues generation of defect reports verify fixed issues and update preexisting defect reports.
  • Create test reports based on test results for internal and external audiences with high attention to detail.

 


Qualifications :

  • Degree in Electrical Mechanical or Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 2 to 6 years experience in embedded system development testing design and engineering.
  • Embedded C language proficiency required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Python and Linux shell scripting required.
  • Must have knowledge of formal test theory test methodology and test experience. Embedded testing is a strong asset.
  • Experience with embedded operating systems is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 with experience applying either.
  • Ability to enable automation for manual tests and automate test result processing.
  • Ability to write clear and concise problem reports.
  • Familiar with Continuous Integration build systems (Jenkins)
  • Familiar with source versioning problem reporting (SVN or GIT)
  • Good communication teamplayer interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
