Job Description
Job Title Finance Data Engineer
Location Chiasso Switzerland
Working model hybrid from Chiasso
Team You will join the Data Analytics team in the Technology department.
Level Professional (working in teams or individually on projects with emphasis on technical/discipline knowledge rather than managing people)
Contract Permanent fulltime (36 h/week)
What your impact will be:
- Design development and continuous improvements of endtoend data pipelines
- Continuous improvement in delivery applying engineering best practices to development monitoring and data quality of the data pipelines.
- Data model creation design of ETL activities and unit tests
- Writing documents for mapping of data flows according to business rules
Qualifications :
Your expertise:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Statistics Mathematics Engineering or Information Technology
- 12 years of experience in a similar role in a fastpaced environment
- Advanced SQL language knowledge and programming languages (e.g. Java Python)
- Demonstrable ability to work creatively and analytically with a strong aptitude for problemsolving
- Basic experience in Cloud environments (e.g.: GCP AWS)
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
Desirable:
- Understand stakeholders business areas and take ownership of their data needs collect/support business requirement definition be able to influence and partner with them leveraging on an indepth crossfunctional data knowledge
- Performing analysis to provide insights and summaries to the direct manager the rest of the team and other functions
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
- Good knowledge of Google WorkSuite
