Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled well rounded AI Software Engineer to join our AI innovation lab team. The ideal candidate will lead AI experiments and bring cuttingedge GenAI solutions from ideation to production.
Avaloqs AI Lab mission is to enhance operational efficiency and provide personalized wealth management solutions by responsibly leveraging GenAI tech. The team develops solutions for banking industry catering to diverse users such as banking operations software engineers knowledge services teams and client advisors.
Your key tasks
- Lead AI experiments and develop solutions from ideation to production
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement AI solutions
- Deploy and maintain AI models in production environments
- Optimize solutions for performance and scalability
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI tech and related regulations
Qualifications :
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Strong background in data science statistics and experimental thinking
- Understanding of data structures algorithms and software design principles
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- At least 5 years of experience in FullStack Software Development
- At least 1 year of experience in developing Generative AI applications and finetuning LLMs
- Proven track record of deploying and maintaining AI models in production
- Machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch or similar
- Excellent analytical coding and debugging skills in Python
- Cloud AI services e.g. AWS (SageMaker Bedrock) Azure (AI Studio) GCP (Vertex AI)
- MLOps and workflow platforms e.g. MLFlow
- Optimization and compute distribution for training and inference e.g. NVIDIA NIM CUDA DeepSpeed Ray etc.
- Microservices and REST APIs
It would be a real bonus if you have
- Experience as a techlead with handson attitude
- Contributions to opensource AI projects
- Experience in developing core banking systems and/or wealth management solutions
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) and container orchestration systems (e.g. Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of the latest advancements in AI ethics and responsible AI practices
- TypeScript Angular
- Java SprintBoot Kotlin
