Job Description
The Acoustics & Product Assessment Specialist will be the technical lead for identifying & assessing suitable radio equipment for operational use by the public safety customers.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform technical assessments on existing radio communications equipment on the market and report on their operational usefulness in a public safety environment to the customer.
- Work with manufacturing partners to develop products and solutions that can solve the issues facing the customer
- Production and review of reports into testing & technical assessments. (iv) Liaise between the customers occupational health dept working groups and industry leaders to better understand health & safety policies noise induced hearing loss and their practical application.
- Lead the acoustic testing services provided for the customer and provide recommendations of changes needed to update the services.
- Be the customers technical expert in audio and acoustics and attend technical forums and meetings on their behalf as a consultant.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers internal stakeholders and suppliers. (viii) Support the catalogue services team by answering customer questions and identifying products for use.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in the field of professional mobile radio communications and associated audio accessories used with radio communications equipment.
