Job Description
Upwork Managed Services is working with an Enterprise client who is looking to complete research for a knowledge base. The work will require 2 freelancers and it is anticipated the project will last roughly 2 months or until the end of 2024.
We are seeking 12 detailoriented and motivated Research Assistants to support the development of a comprehensive knowledge base for a membership service aimed at psychiatric and psychological professionals. The Research Assistants will play a critical role in gathering organizing and analyzing information to inform the structure and content of the knowledge base.
This position requires strong research skills. Successful candidates will have an eye for detail and a passion for contributing to a project that supports mental health professionals with valuable accessible resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research Support: Assist in conducting thorough research on the needs of psychiatric and psychological professionals identifying key topics and issues that should be covered in the knowledge base.
- Data Collection: Gather and organize information from a variety of sources including clinical guidelines research articles case studies and medical coding resources.
- Medical Coding Research: Assist in reviewing and organizing content related to psychiatric and psychological medical coding (ICD10 DSM5 CPT) ensuring that the knowledge base aligns with professional standards.
- Content Organization: Work closely with the Project Lead and technical team to ensure that research findings are properly categorized summarized and prepared for inclusion in the knowledge base.
- Document Preparation: Compile research findings into clear organized documents or reports to be reviewed by the Project Lead and other stakeholders.
- FactFinding: Navigate through various sources to find and verify essential information for the knowledge base addressing any ambiguities in the research process.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Project Lead technical team and subject matter experts to ensure the project meets its objectives and deadlines.
Qualifications :
Skills:
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data and information.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to assist in interviews and document research findings clearly.
- Proficiency in using research tools databases and content management systems is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced project environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mental health psychology or healthcare settings is a plus.
- Previous experience supporting projects related to knowledge management or content curation is desirable.
- Familiarity with psychiatric/psychological medical coding (ICD10 DSM5 CPT) is a big plus.
