Job Description
What youll be doing:
- Define Fontworks overall product strategy for Japan which should be consistent with our overall global strategy direction and sales motions.
- Deeply understand the needs of the Japanese market through market research and guide our global development team to create and launch outstanding experiences.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for competitive intelligence staying abreast of industry trends in the Japanese market
- Research align lead and execute endtoend localization including defining processes and managing operations with internal and external stakeholders
- Define product requirements roadmaps budgets and forecasts.
- Communicate roadmaps progress risks and changes to internal and global crossfunctional teams.
- Plan and conduct beta testing with select customers gathering critical feedback and ensuring that the localized global product experience and efficacy meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Coordinate new product launches working alongside marketing to create impactful results.
- Coordinate endofservice and endoflife on legacy Fontworks products and manage customer migrations on our goforward offerings.
- Analyze product performance make strategic adjustments and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities for our organization and our customers propose and evaluate the most impactful initiatives promote them across the organization secure funding and prioritization and execute related initiatives.
Qualifications :
What were looking for:
- Fluent in Japanese and English
- 810 years of SaaS product management experience
- Experience translating local user research insight into a global SaaS offering
- Expertise in road mapping including modeling impact mutivariate testing and driving activation and retention at scale
- Can plan and organize work in close collaboration with an international team of product managers product designers and engineers.
- Enjoys handson execution and strategic thought leadership
- Adept at building measuring and reporting against fundamental business metrics
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills at all levels of an organization and external stakeholders especially the ability to distill complex concepts for a nontechnical audience
- Familiar with the Japanese culture ideally with a solid understanding of Japanese UX/UI standards
