Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance (Janitor)
Summary:
Primary duties include maintenance and cleaning of manufacturing plant and immediate area.
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform maintenance and cleaning of all areas of the plant as needed or as specified on the maintenance schedule.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and order supplies as required.
- Verify proper supplies and placement of first aid stations.
- Perform repair and/or replacement of support facilities as necessary.
Must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a janitorial or maintenance position or equivalent.
- Familiar with standard cleaning and maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Able to follow oral instructions.
- Speak and understand English.
- Requires frequent bending reaching and lifting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Other responsibilities may include:
- Perform other tasks as requested.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing.
Must be able to lift bend stoop climb reach and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
