Passion for Life is seeking a Program Evaluator Intern to contribute methodology evaluation plans and data analysis skills to the development team. As a member of the research & evaluation team you will be responsible for designing the measurement of the impact and behavioral changes in students that participate in Passion for Life Inc.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing specific data collection instruments to evaluate program participants programs such as pre/posttests surveys assessments interview guides and focus group protocols.
- Develop and review surveys forms and other data collection activities to ensure content and format is appropriate to promote clarity and responsiveness.
- Conduct evaluation activities developed by the operations team including the development of effective data collection monitoring and reporting systems.
- Use quantitative and qualitative methods to develop and execute evaluation projects.
- Identify program needs based on data collected and analyzed.
- Ensuring that all changes in programs are well documented.
- Work closely with the research and evaluation team to provide outcome reporting for proposal writing and author text for evaluation plans.
- Design research presentations and reports for key stakeholders.
- Conduct and analyze interviews with volunteer coaches and leadership.
Required Skills
- Adequate experience using quantitative and qualitative research techniques
- Detailoriented with strong editing and proofreading skills
- Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word Excel PowerPoint Publisher etc).
- Effective communication interpersonal and organizational skills; attention to detail is required.
- Experience with using and translating data to communicate program successes and impact
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple ongoing projects
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
Qualifications :
Education Requirement
- Must be currently pursuing a degree in Business Management Nonprofit Management Research/Research development Sociology Psychology or related field
- Must be classified as a Junior or Senior
- Experience as a research assistant a plus
Additional Information :
Time Commitment: 510 hours per week.
