Job Description
Embark on a vital role in the world of hospitality as a Houseperson where your dynamic efforts behind the scenes contribute to the seamless elegance of the hotels rooms & public spaces. From maintaining pristine corridors to supporting event setups your attention to detail ensures a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere for guests. The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for assisting room attendants through the distribution of supplies throughout property. Housepersons are also responsible for responding to guest requests for amenities/services and inventory stocking.
- Transport and stock all linen and supplies in housekeeping closets and back of house areas
- Keep housekeeping areas clean and organized following departmental standards
- Monitor and maintain designated supply levels
- Assist all team members with delivery and restocking of in room amenities and linen
- Work in accordance with hotel and departmental safety standards
- Coordinate and communicate all deliveries and guest requests through companies internal communication platform
- Engage with guests with a smile and appropriate greeting using the guests name whenever appropriate
- Follow all Auberge Service Standards
- Capture and record guest preferences into internal communication platform where appropriate
- Perform other duties as directed developed or assigned
- Clean and maintain public areas including corridors lobbies and restrooms to uphold high cleanliness standards.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces ensuring they meet the required specifications and are wellorganized.
- Transport and deliver linens amenities and cleaning supplies to housekeeping staff as needed.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to address special requests and ensure a coordinated approach to cleaning activities.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or damages in public areas to ensure prompt resolution.
Qualifications :
- Oneyear Housekeeping experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays according to department needs.
- A genuine affinity for interacting with guests and team members alike
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time seamlessly including delivery of guest requests and room attendant requests
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments and individuals as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and security of guest rooms
- Experience in a luxury Resort preferred.
