Job Description
- Strategic Procurement Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the companys overall business objectives
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers ensuring timely delivery quality standards and competitive pricing
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions including pricing payment terms and performance metrics
- Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to optimize procurement spend
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate procurement risks including supply chain disruptions quality issues and financial risks
- Supplier Performance Evaluation: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Procurement Systems and Processes: Oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment including supplier onboarding order placement and invoice processing and find opportunities for process efficiencies
- Team Management: Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals providing guidance training and mentorship
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Business Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles including sourcing negotiation and contract management
- Broad knowledge of products and services commonly used in the financial and/or information technology sector
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate contracts terms and pricing effectively
