Job Description

As a Formwork Designer at Doka USA you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of formwork systems for construction projects. Leveraging your expertise in formwork design principles structural engineering and CAD software you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver efficient and costeffective formwork solutions that meet project requirements and exceed client expectations. This role will be an inperson role based out of our Pompano Beach FL branch and will report into the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop formwork systems for a wide range of construction projects including commercial residential and industrial structures.
  • Conduct comprehensive structural analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of designs considering factors such as load capacity stability and material specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers engineers and clients to understand project requirements objectives and constraints.
  • Utilize CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit) to create detailed formwork drawings plans and schematics ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends advancements in formwork technology and regulatory changes incorporating best practices into design processes and methodologies.
  • Participate in project meetings reviews and presentations communicating design concepts progress updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing design processes enhancing product quality and maximizing efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field a plus.
  • Proven experience in formwork design and engineering within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Revit or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of formwork design principles structural analysis and building codes.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail with a focus on delivering highquality and innovative solutions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work crossfunctionally and engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in project management or leadership roles is preferred.
