Job Description

A Tree Climber is responsible for climbing tall trees to harvest coconuts prune branches and maintain the health of the trees. The role requires physical strength agility and the ability to work safely at significant heights. The climber uses traditional methods or specialized equipment to efficiently collect coconuts ensuring safety and minimal damage to the tree.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely climb trees to trim dead or excess fronds.
  • Use climbing tools or traditional techniques to access high parts of the tree.
  • Ensure proper handling without damaging the tree or surroundings.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to prevent injury while working at heights.
  • Collaborate with other workers to clear debris and maintain a clean worksite.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in climbing trees or similar work.
  • Physical fitness and stamina for climbing and working at heights.
  • Familiarity with climbing techniques and equipment.
  • Attention to safety procedures.
  • No fear of heights and ability to work in outdoor conditions.
