Job Description
Wood is looking for a Principal Architectural Designer to join our team in AlKhobar Saudi Arabia.
- Execute assigned scopes of work with little supervision from the Lead Engineer.
- Provide discipline drafting expertise to the team and to the business.
- Review as built drawings and assists with collection of design information required.
- Provide guidance to Designers and CADD operators.
- Go for site visits and verify site conditions and markup drawings/perform asbuilt activities.
- Liaise with project / lead engineers at all levels.
- Provide design input to project estimates.
- Actively participates in Competency and Training.
- Participate in audit and incident investigations as required.
- Manage and direct resources efficiently and effectively.
- Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to direct reports / respective team.
- Provide strong leadership in promoting demonstrating and being a role model in accordance with company core values and ethics policy.
- Monitor teams compliance with competence standards.
- 15 years of experience
- 2 years Engineering Diploma or equivalent
- Must have working knowledge of REVIT AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Extensive Experience in Architectural. Must have handled the design of complex projects for Saudi Aramco and SABIC.
- Must have extensive experience with RC Saudi Aramco SABIC & international Standards.
- Has experience in the supervision of designers and CADD operators.
- Has experience in design detail drafting and preparation of material takesoffs.
- Must have knowledge of engineering practices design details international codes and standards procedures and specifications.
- Have experience with development enhancement and maintenance of 3D graphic visual display and modelling work
