- Recording patient medical histories vitals test results and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assisting practitioners with medical and surgical procedures and other patient care.
- Preparing MOHS paperwork and instruments assisting during procedures bandaging suture removal educating patients on wound care.
- Scheduling surgeries.
- Sterilize instruments and clean autoclave.
- Conduct weekly inventory clean and restock examination and surgery rooms.
- Patients phone calls with lab or pathology results.
- Delivering compassionate support attention and assistance to patients and families.
- Scribe examinations into IPad using our Dermatology EMR.
- Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Front desk coverage includes registering and checking patients in/out answering phones scheduling appointments and checking insurance.
Qualifications :

Job Type:
- Fulltime 45 days Monday Tuesday Thursday 85 Wednesdays 86 and Friday 84. Mohs days start at 7:30am.
- Ability to be flexible to cover as needed greatly appreciated.

Experience:
- Experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital (2 years).
- Dermatology experience is a plus
- Experience in MOHS assistance is a plus.
- Front desk experience is a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Certifications/Licenses:
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA)
