Job Description
- Escort patients to the exam room.
- Assist Provider with exam and procedure administering medications and performing tests.
- Assist patients with questions about medications usage and wound care.
- Ensure all related reports labs and acquired information is available in the patients medical records.
- Triage and relay messages from patients and staff to the providers.
- Clean and restock examination and surgery rooms.
- Sterilize instruments.
- Scheduling appointments
- Following all OSHA regulations
- Regularly interacts with providers and other departments in order to identify and resolve issues
Qualifications :
- Experience utilizing EMR systems
- Computer and iPad savvy
Job Type:
- Full time : MondayFriday 7:45 am to 5 pm
- Strict attendance and punctuality
- Aiding team members as necessary
Experience:
- 23 years medical assistant experience
- Dermatology experience is a huge plus
- Knowledge of biologics and medication prior authorization process
Education:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Certified Nursing Assistant
